A letter from Hirsh Singh to his supporters.
March 12, 2018
My name is Hirsh Singh, and I am running for Congress as a Republican in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District. Thru this letter, I ask for your support in the Cape May County Republican Convention tonight.
I am a proud South Jerseyean. I was born in Atlantic City, graduated from Egg Harbor Township High School, earned an engineering degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and presently live in Linwood in Atlantic County.
After college, I joined our family’s aviation business, and provided leadership to grow our company from purely a civil aviation business to a successful firm supporting the Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, NASA, and the Federal Aviation Administration. We provide high-end engineering, research and IT support services for programs such as missile defense testing, satellite navigation, unmanned aerial systems, intelligence, electronic warfare, and aircraft and aviation safety. Over the last ten years I have focused primarily on protecting our homeland and protecting our military personnel abroad.
I have always had a passion for public service. As such, with Congressman LoBiondo's retirement, I announced my campaign to succeed him. It is vital for Republicans to come together and protect South Jersey’s seat in Congress. Democrat gains in the next election could potentially make Nancy Pelosi Speaker again and empower her to restore the Obamacare tax, undermine our military, and rollback the economic progress made by President Trump.
South Jersey needs a fighter to win this seat and defend our values. As a South Jersey native, you can count on me to understand the issues that affect our region and to fight to solve the challenges we face. No one will fight harder than me to protect our values; defend our beaches, fisheries and farmlands; and bring jobs to South Jersey.
I recently won the Burlington County and the Ocean County Republican Conventions and I now ask for your support.
I know how difficult it is to assemble a strong political team and fund a competitive campaign. By consolidating around one candidate now, our Republican Party can build a war chest and prepare for the real fight ahead – defeating the Democrat nominee and protecting our local and county level candidates in November. As I have in the past, I pledge to raise the money necessary to wage a winning campaign. As a united Party, we will keep South Jersey red.
If you would like to speak with me for any reason, please feel free to call me on my cell, (609) 335-5289.
